A Birmingham-based language and translation services provider reported double-digit revenue growth following an increase in demand.

The Translation People, which also has offices in Manchester, Glasgow, London and Tunbridge Wells, as well as Germany, France and the US, said its turnover jumped to £7.2million sterling in 2021, a growth of almost 24% compared to 2020.

The company also welcomed 631 new customers, including specialists from the pharmaceutical, e-learning, financial and automotive sectors.

Managing Director Jasmin Schneider said: “Our four regions – UK, France, Germany and USA – have seen strong growth, which is a testament to how well we have been able to respond to the business needs of our customers around us. the world as they have adapted to the impacts of the pandemic.

“By investing in innovative services in line with customer requirements, focusing on our customer service, we have achieved an impressive rate of customer retention and new customer acquisition.

“Our growth demonstrates that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that the most cost effective and highest quality translation solutions are offered to give our clients a competitive edge in their industries.”

The Translation People expects further growth this year, having established a roadmap in 2021 to double revenue by 2025 through acquisitions and organic growth.
